فريج الطيبين ٢٠١٨ – Freej Al Taibeen 2018 فريج الطيبين ٢٠١٨ – Freej Altaibeen 2018 Official Trailer Ahmed Zein has finished filming his new Emirati feature film «Freej Al Taibeen», which sheds light on many aspects of everyday life in the late 1980s and early 1990s. The film is now in the final stages of post-production by director/editor Firas Sameer at his studio Babylon Gate Films L.L.C., handling editing, visual graphics, color grading, audio correction, synthesizer work, and sound design. «Freej Al Taibeen» blends comedy, action, and drama, capturing nostalgia through classic scenes such as roaming clothes vendors, traditional samosa sellers, and folk games from that era. The movie aims to strengthen the national Emirati spirit and promote a culture of volunteering to serve the nation, depicting community responses during the era of Iraq’s invasion of Kuwait. Running at 90 minutes, the film is written and produced by director Ahmed Zein with support from the Abu Dhabi Music & Arts Foundation (ADMAF). The film stars Abdullah Al Jinebi, Mohammed Murshed, Huda Al Ghanim, Eman Hussain, Nawal, Ali Al Shehhi, Nasser Al-Dhahnani, Yasser Al-Neadi, Khalid Al-Nuaimi, along with social media stars Ali Saleh (Ben Swaileh) and Ibrahim Al-Muraikhi (Br br). LISA – Emirati Featured Movie
We’ve just completed a big Emirate featured movie project titled “Lisa” written and directed by Emirate director Ahmed Zain “Director of Grand Mother’s Farm 1 & 2” which will be participating in the coming Dubai International Film Festival DIFF this year 2016 and then will be released into Gulf cinemas early of 2017.

Grandmother’s Farm II – Visual Effects Project Grandmother’s Farm II is one of the most famous Emirati feature films, directed by Emirati director Ahmed Zain following the massive success of the first installment across the UAE and the Gulf region. Our team handled the visual effects for the film. We created and added several custom VFX shots, which we will share with you once we receive full approvals from the film’s director. Darkness Special Effects!!
Visual Effects Work: “Darkness” Short Film “Darkness” the Emirati short film directed by the Emirati director Ahmed Zain has been participating in festivals such as Dubai International Film Festival 2010, Gulf Film Festival 2011 and others… I participated in this short film as a special effects editor. The scenes I edited were around 45 to 50 seconds all in all, but it took me around 2 months to complete them. It was all about changing the whole sky background with another cloudy one using Adobe After Effects. There were a lot of challenges performing this type of editing because the actor who was driving the bicycle had a lot of brightness on him due to shooting during summer in the United Arab Emirates. His traditional Emirati clothes were almost the same color and brightness as the sky, so isolating the actor from the background was a major challenge, but the good news is I DID IT …. There were four different scenes I edited in this film by replacing the entire sky area with a cloudy sky. The work was done using the frame-by-frame editing method, which is one of the most complex techniques editors use, but there was no other way to solve this issue—especially since changing the sky wasn’t planned on the shooting day, as the scenario was modified slightly later on. Darkness Before and After Sample Below are some snapshots of the Darkness short movie. بعض لقطات المشاهد من فيلم عتمه Habib Gholoum – Main Actor حبيب غنوم – الممثل الرئيسي A Scene From the Short Film Darkness مشهد من فيلم عتمة المؤثرات الخاصة لفيلم – عتمه الفيلم الاماراتي “عــتــمــه” هو فيلم قصير من اخراج المخرج الاماراتي احمد زين والذي شارك في مهرجانات دولية مثل مهرجان دبي السينمائي ٢٠١٠، مهرجان الخليج السينمائي الدولي ٢٠١١، ومهرجانات عالمية اخرى. شاركت في صناعه هذا الفيلم من خلال اضافه بعض المؤثرات الخاصة، المشاهد التي قمت بوضع لمسات المؤثرات الخاصة كان مجموعها تقريبا ٤٠ الى ٥٠ ثانية لكنها اخذت من وقتي قرابه الشهرين من العمل كون وجود بعض المصاعب فلم يكن مقررا في وقت التصوير ان يحتوي المشهد على المؤثرات الخاصة لكن النتيجة كانت ممتازة. ماقمت به هو تغيير كامل الى السماء في اربعة مشاهد لجعل المشهد يبدو وكأنه صور في وقت الشتاء بدل الصيف، حيث كانت الصعوبة تكمن في تبديل المشاهد بطريقة صورة صورة حيث تعتبر هذه الطريقة من اصعب الطرق في عالم المونتاج.
