Birdman Movie Breaks All Records In The 2015 Oscars

Regardless of the last superhero roles for Michael Keaton in his Batman movie series, the Birdman movie were Keaton playing the lead actor role in the story in a dark comedy-drama movie and the new idea behind it is not represented only by the story but the camera from the first scene until 10 (or so) minutes from the end of the movie, the camera doesn’t so much as blink.

The scenario of the Birdman movie was created in a way that presents the scenes one by one continuously cut free sequence inside the St James Theatre in New York City where the movie was shot and “Riggan” (Keaton role) a faded Hollywood star hopes to resuscitate his flagging career through a play he was part of in that theatre.

The Story of the movie is all about “Riggan Thomson” is an actor who played the famous and iconic superhero “Birdman” over 20 years ago. Now, in his middle-age he is directing his debut on Broadway, a drama called “What We Talk About When We Talk About Love”, an adaptation from a Raymond Carver story. With the help of his assistant and daughter Sam (Whom nominated for best assistant Actress award in the same 87th academy awards), and his producer Jake, he will play out the show previews, even when a talented actor he hired on, Mike Shiner act arbitrarily, the internal issues between him and the other casts, his useless maximum efforts to critics, and the unexpected voices of his old character- the Birdman, pushing his sanity until the first debut show.

The production of this movie and its storytelling which based on the scenario written by “Alejandro G. Iñárritu, Nicolás Giacobone, Alexander Dinelaris Jr. & Armando Bo” presenting the scenes in a very smart way which you can’t see a cut and the camera is on rolling all the time even when next day raises in the story, the Director Of Photography “Emmanuel Lubezki, Iñárritu” were part of this non-forgettable, unique method of presenting a movie.

This movie proves that the screenwriters should have well understanding of the production phase, such as camera movements, technology capabilities, directing, the background of special effects …etc.
