Demon Transformation
The Demon Transformation VFX A demon may be presented in unlimited ways, especially when it comes to the film industry. There are many famous demon movies out there and many of them are unique, but they all share the same goal: to be creepy. I was thinking about the last time I created the Hulky Transformation effect on my friend Muhannad, which turned out great. Starting from that concept, I got the idea to create another transformation on the exact same piece of footage—this time presenting a demon transformation. The most important element of creating the demon effect is making it look realistic and creepy. The main challenge I faced was that the original footage was shot during the daytime, whereas a creepy atmosphere typically requires night-time lighting… but I did my best to achieve that mood in post-production. Attention: Graphic Content Video In the near future, I will be working on applying this effect to a full professional project. BIFF jury praises the INSO Documentary
INSO Documentary Feature at Baghdad International Film Festival When the Iraqi National Symphony Orchestra Features documentary participated in the Baghdad International Film Festival last year in its 5th edition, it received wonderful feedback from the audience who attended the screening. An Unforgettable Moment Also, some of the pioneer Iraqi filmmakers along with other reporters have shown great interest in the film’s rich information, presenting the history of Iraq since the early 1940s from the perspective of the Symphony Orchestra. Dr. Ammar AlAwadi (BIFF co-founder with Taher Alwan) praised the INSO documentary film and shared his thoughts regarding its rich historical content: “Your film is so valuable… and worth making a seminar to discuss it.” His valued words serve as another award for the film. The Maestro of the Iraqi National Symphony Orchestra, Mr. Abdul Razzak Al-Azawi, was present at the screening and added his positive feedback for the film in which he participated. Media networks were also eager to conduct TV interviews regarding our participation in the BIFF 5th Edition (2013) and the story behind the INSO Documentary film. Shiekh Zayed Grand Mosque
Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Project Who doesn’t know or heard of Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque!! The big edifice located in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. The Grand Mosque is considered to be the key place of worship in the UAE, accommodating over 40,000 worshippers during Friday or Eid prayers. It features the largest hand-knotted carpet in the world and stands as one of the world’s largest mosques. Last year, I had the chance to visit the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque with my family and relatives. It was a wonderful journey, during which I took numerous photographs and filmed the footage used in this video project. Constructed over a period of 10 years (from 1996 to 2007), the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque was crafted using materials sourced from various countries worldwide, including Morocco, Germany, Pakistan, Italy, India, Turkey, Iran, China, the United Kingdom, Malaysia, New Zealand, Greece, and the United Arab Emirates. Its central dome is also recognized as the largest mosque dome in the world. A wide variety of natural and precious materials were incorporated into its architecture, including gold, marble, semi-precious stones, fine ceramics, and crystals. The Grand Mosque is open to visitors, and I highly recommend visiting to experience its breathtaking architectural beauty firsthand. Now, getting back to our video: the soundtrack features a piece titled Light Year composed by Terry Devine, paired with added vocal prayer calls—which I performed myself! The HULKY Transform effect
The HULKY Transform Effect You don’t see the Hulky transform effect on people every day.. better to check this out. Yesterday I and my friend Mohannad went for outdoors shooting I took, as usual, my equipment and start walking the streets nearby my home, then suddenly found this guy who has transferred into Hulky man but within seconds he came back normal, actually, this guy was Mohannad. I was arranging to make some outdoor shootings here and there to make other cool videos and one of my footage I got from there was the one I used in this video. At that time when I planned to make this video I did not have any ideas in mind of what to add into this footage I simply just shot it and then in post-production I was wondering what to make then I decided to make this Hulky transform effects just like when Mohannad was staring in the street and waiting for someone then an external phenomenon happened suddenly to him that transfer him into Hulk man for a couple of seconds and then retrieved back normal.. There are many ideas I have for Hulky Transform effect but wanted to make it in a funny way and realistic at the same time, I would have thought of making a different effect with this footage but saved some ideas into my next videos in the future with different footage. The Iraqi National Symphony Orchestra Documentary Six months of continuous working, the film was done … I mean the INSO (The Iraqi National Symphony Orchestra) documentary film which took all my time in those months as this film will be participated in International Film Festivals, it tells the story of the Middle East oldest Symphony Orchestra, which established early in the forties of the last century, and because of the unstable situations that occurred in Iraqi since then, the INSO have faced a lot a lot of problems and obstacles and because of its members love to the classical music it wouldn’t stay alive till now. ستة اشهر من العمل المتواصل على مدار الساعه، واخيرا اكتمل الفيلم الوثائقي … وهنا اقصد الفيلم الوثائقي (الفرقة السمفونية الوطنية العراقية) الذي اخذ وقتي كله في تلك الفترة الزمنيه الكبيرة حيث شارك في مهرجانات دولية . يتكلم الفيلم عن اقدم فرقة سمفونية في الشرق الاوسط، والتي تشكلت في بداية الاربعينيات من القرن المنصرم وبسبب الاوضاع الغير مستقرة التي حصلت ومازالت تحصل في العراق منذ ذلك الحين تأثرت وتعثرت الفرقة السمفونية الوطنية العراقية وواجه اعضائها الكثير من المصاعب وبسبب حب اعضائها لها كان من المستحيل ان تصمد الفرقة وتكون موجودة الى يومنا هذا. I don’t want to talk more about the film, but to those who would have the chance to attend in any film festival I strongly encourage them to watch this film on theater. الفرقة السمفونية الوطنية العراقية تعتبر اقدم اوكيسترا في العالم العربي، بل في الشرق الاوسط حيث تكوينها في بداية الاربعينيات من القرن المنصرم. مسيرة الفرقة السمفونية الوطنية العراقية لم تكن مثالية كمثيلاتها من فرق الاوركسترا في دول العالم، او على الاقل لم تكن مسيرتها طبيعية فمسيرتها لطالما كانت متعثرة بسبب التغيرات السياسية والاجتماعية خلال العقود الكثيرة الماضية. فما هي هذه الصعوبات التي واجهتها السمفونيه؟ وماذا كانت مواقف الحكومات المتتاليه منها؟ وماذا كان مصير عازفيها؟ لا اود الحديث اكثر عن الفيلم الحائز على جوائز عالمية في كندا وامريكا ولكني انصح لكل من تسنح له فرصة مشاهدته بدور السينما في المهرجانات بمشاهدته. Kinetic typography Animation “Never Did Nothin’ “
Kinetic Typography Animation This animation is called Kinetic typography, it is used by firms or enterprise companies to show their presentations online on YouTube or Vimeo or even their own websites. So, this is a time-consuming job that requires also sitting with the client to gather the required information and understanding the idea behind the animation they would like to make, also the targeted audience. The process of creating a Kinetic typography also require creating a scenario and storyboard and all of those should be done prior to the animation work. The below Kinetic Typography animation I made using a song offered on the internet as a free licensed song called “Never Did Nothin’ to write a song about”, is it a fun song so I made the animation in a funny way. Hope you like it as I do and as everybody do. هذا النوع من الانميشن يدعى “كينتك” وهو يستعمل عادة من قبل الشركات والمؤسسات لغرض عرض خدماتها ودعاياتها على مواقع الانترنت من امثال اليوتيوب والفيميو … وايضا في مواقعهم الخاصة. هكذا نوع من الانميشن يتطلب وقت لصناعته وايضا يتطلب عمل اجتماعات مع الشركة او الشخص المعني لغرض الحصول على المعلومات الكاملة بخصوص الخدمات التي يقدموها في مؤسستهم وايضا للتعرف على جميع الاهداف المطلوبة من صناعة هكذا انميشن ومن هم الجمهور الذي سيخاطبهم هذا الانميشن لكي تؤدي عمله هذا الفيديو ويحقق النتائج والاهداف المرجوة منه. من متطلبات عمل مثل هكذا فيديو هو ان اعمل سيناريو وستوري بورد ليتعم العمل بسلاسة وبدون اخطاء وكل هذا التحظير بالتاكيد هو ماقبل البدأ بعمل الانميشن. الانميشن في الفيديو تحت عملته كمثال باستخدام اغنية وجدتها على الانترنت وخطرت ببالي فكرة ان اعمل هذا الفيديو بسببه.. الاغنية طبعا معروضه في الانترنت للاستخدام المجاني لاي شخص، لذلك تكونت لدي فكرة كوميدية لعمل هذا الانميشن. اتمنى ان يعجبكم هذا الانميشن كما عجبني وعجب الاخرين. Babylon Gate Films Intro
Babylon Gate Films Intro This is the project which I worked on for almost three weeks, the Babylon Gate Films intro, I divided this into project for three parts, the first one was the earth in the space, the second one was the matte painting for the 3D presentation and the third part was the logo and the title animation. The second part took the most time of the project, but looking at the result makes me say it was worth hard working. The idea behind this intro was to make a nice logo for all of the Babylon Gate Films projects to be presented on their openings. I aimed to present the old Babylon city in that old time, and to show how it was the capital of the whole world, the beginning of the first civilizations ever, that shiny and glittery star came from the space passing through that time reaching the Babylon Gate presenting the Babylon Gate Films in our age. استمر هذا المشروع من وقتي الحوالي ثلاثة اسابيع وذلك بعد تجزئتي له لثلاثة مراحل.. الجزء الاول كان المقدمة والكرة الارضيه، الجزء الثاني كان المشهد الثلاثي الابعاد باستخدام تقنية الرسم على الخلفية، والجزء الاخير هو لوغو موقع افلام بوابة بابل. طبعا الجزء الثاني اخذ مني اغلب الوقت لوجود تفاصيل كثيرة به وايضا الوقت لعمل الريندر. الفكرة بهذا العمل هو ان يكون بمثابة دعاية للموقع يوضع في بداية اي فلم ينتجه موقع بوابة بابل للافلام وقررت استخدام مناظر قديمه لبابل الاثرية لاظهار كيف كانت الحياة رائعه في ذلك الوقت وكيف كانت بابل هي عاصمة العالم كونها تعتبر من اولى الحضارات في العالم، لذك هذا النجم المشع الذي أتى من السماء ودخل على مكان مدينة بابل الاثرية داخل العراق ومروره من خلال بوابة بابل ليظهر لنا شعار بوابة بابل للافلام في وقتنا هذا ..
